Global eParcel Solutions

Global eParcel Solutions was formed to give their customer base an entrepreneurial approach to help navigate the complex system of global postal and parcel solutions. It was founded in 2015 by Thomas Alfonso and was initially focused on the wholesale mail market providing those customers a complete range of logistics solutions. Glen Ford joined the company in 2016 as an equity partner, heading up wholesale mail sales and assumed the role of CEO from 2017 through May of 2020. Glen left the company in 2020 to take on new challenges and opportunities in his home country of New Zealand.  Thomas Alfonso became the CEO in May 2020.

With offices in New Jersey, Chicago and Miami it has continued to grow and services the entire country and connects these locations with the entire globe.

In 2020 Global eParcel Solutions became a wholly owned subsidiary of Jersey Post Global Inc. when it was  purchased by the Jersey Post Group. Global eParcel Solutions has expanded it’s proposition to include services for the consumer, small business, wholesale mail, freight forwarding, Warehousing, Fulfillment and Distribution  markets. The company is passionate about providing well priced solutions for all customers.

Thomas J Alfonso

Tom’s 42 years of operational experience began in 1979 as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Graduating from United States Military Academy at West Point he served as an Aviation Officer and helicopter pilot in multiple assignments. Leaving the military in 1988 as a Captain, Tom was recruited by Airborne Freight to run an operation in New York City. Since then Tom has held many senior management roles with  the Airborne Express, FedEx and Deutsche Post – DHL   covering all aspects of Operational Management and Industrial Engineering.

In 2008 Tom became the Director of Routing and Distribution for DHL Global Mail, a US based division of Deutsche Post.  The founder of Global eParcel Solutions, Tom was the COO from 2017 through 2020 when he assumed his current role of CEO.  Through his many years of global deployments and experiences Tom has built a vast network of both business and personal relationships. His impressive experience and deep knowledge of the Postal and Parcel operating platforms gives GePS the strongest possible Executive and Operations Management base for continued success.
